THE NEW BURNT OAK LIBRARY

A classic 1960s, North London branch library, designed by borough architect B Bancroft has been remodelled to designs by Knott Architects to suit its 21st century role in the community.

A new entrance bursts out of the building's corner; acting as signpost in the streetscape and forming the start to a curving route navigating through the building.

The scheme respects the fine period building while celebrating the building's fresh new life.
