ART FUND PAVILION - LEAN

An indoor / outdoor, sheltering, semi-permanent summer pavilion.

Hugging, embracing shield from the outside: shimmering preciousness on the inside.

The folding ‘Lean’ Pavilion is formed of separate plates leaning against one another, each giving mutual support to the greater whole. Glowing edges peek above the courtyard wall, signposting its arrival to Woking. The form is open to its setting, the sky, the sun the wind . . . open to everybody.
