BRYANSTONE
ROAD
A single
space to eat, cook, play and read was created, large enough for a table
and integrated bench where all these activities can take place.
The new extension creates a quiet, central courtyard. Warm and
durable, oak is used internally wherever activities or high traffic occur.
Based on ‘strips' of glazing, cedar and engineering brick,
views from upstairs windows - often unconsidered - clearly show the composition.
Oversized frameless glass doors wrap up and over and link existing with
new. Slim cedar cladding follows the glass and engineering brick delineates
the boundary line.
